Is Compulsive Shopping A Symptom Of Depression?

Over a month ago, I quit my job. That’s one detail I feel comfortable mentioning here. & since then, I bought a bunch of stuff such as about 30 songs from iTunes & DVD sets of “Cheers” & “Frasier.” I have all but the 1st 2 seasons of the latter sitcom. What I’m asking is is buying all that stuff & using ‘em, such as watching the DVDs or listening to the songs my way of filling personal voids. You know, something I can’t fill them w/ friends, dating, or career advancements?

Is The An Online Careers Advisor That I Can Type In My Qualifications And It Comes Up With Ideas Etc?

I don’t know, but there is a program called PATHFINDER. I don’t know where to get it from, try asking your local computer store. – It asks you about you interests, what kind of career you’d like and whether you’d be willing to do certain things. Then it gives you a review of what suits you according to how you answered.

What Should I Do About My Career?

I am currently employeed as an Architectural Designer in a Medium sized firm doing work i really enjoy and am good at. I get paid well as well as bonuses and the unlimited use of a car (but i pay all petrol costs) but no maintenance. I have hit a brick wall when it comes to career advancement within the company. Don’t get me wrong, they are willing to let me into the business, but want me to jump thru all these hoops first to prove my skills, and also this has been dragging on for almost a year now and doesn’t seem to be coming to a head. One of my bosses only bouight into the business about 2 years ago, but he is quickly taking control over the other boss who is 62 and on his way out. I would be buying his half off him over 2 or 3 years, but the younger guy wants control over who he sells to and on what conditions. So the options are to stay and hope for the best, stay as an employee potentially forever, or go and start my own business (risky as i have a wife and family to support).
