I was looking to join the Marines but I was also so fascinated by the SEALs. Im 17 & in good condition. 80 push ups straight. 70 sit ups straight. 12 pull ups straight (dead hang). a 8:30 mile & I have had swimming class in school for the past 2 years( been told i have iron lungs) . I think I have what it takes to be a SEAL but if i was not able to make it I would NOT want to have any other job in the navy as there is almost no direct combat which I would like. So is it possible to goto SEAL training while in the Marines or Army ? Or do you have to be in the Navy to join SEAL training. I just want a military MOS with GUARANTEED combat.
