		<description>You usually need a masters in counseling, and a credential also if you&#039;re working in public schools.  You can become Head of Guidance or something like that at a public school, but not much higher.  
As far as moving to a college- university setting, you won&#039;t have any direct experience, but some indirect experience.  You can be an academic counselor on the college level, or try to work in an admissions office-- but dealing with HS students won&#039;t directly relate.</description>
