Both jobs are stable and meaningful, but the one that makes less money has a slightly higher potential for advancement or future career upgrade.

Yeah, the $95K. While you may have some ‘slight’ potential for advancement in the lower end job, it is no guarantee, and it would take a bit to get up by $30K a year, ya? Boring.. every job that isn’t your passion will get boring eventually. Stressful.. now that is a different thing. But boring + money… of course it is a good deal. Plus if it is really really boring, that likely leaves more time for study and whatnot to find something that you are passionate about.

    1) the interesting job can become uninteresting w/ time
    2) is it just boring? I could live with boring!
    3) I suppose it’s a bigger company/ higher position… better for your resume in case boredom becomes unbearable
Have you been offered these 2 jobs?! Congratulations!
Best of luck and happy choices.

I would take the interesting job that has higher potential for advancement. For me life is too short to be wasting in a boring job you don’t like.
