Hi, my names gabriel as you may know, im 15 years old and iv’e always been fascinated by art and especially graffiti art. I enjoy doing all types of art but i enjoy graffiti the most. mainly because the variety of things you could do to a graffiti piece. But what i have heard is that art careers really don’t pay much. I really love art but i also want to make money. So i was wondering if there is any way of carrying out a graffiti art career and still make good money?

I love to draw but I don’t want to make being an artist a career. I want a steady income. What career should I choose. I want a career where i can actually draw. And i also want to go to a college with art courses but no a strictly art school. I live in Chicago…What schools should I look into I am not a good drawer or painter, I’m quite bad at art prac but i love art history and art theory. I NEED TO KNOW WHERE TO SUBMIT ART AND WHERE TO GO WERE I COULD TALK TO LOCAL ARTIST AND ART GALLERY OWNERS.ALSO,IF THERE ANY PLACE WHERE TO SELL ARAND BUY ART SUPPLIES TOO. I am an artist and I have done a few works, like paintings and other works of art. What should I do now that I want to professionally become an artist and get recogntion in the art world? What should I do? What is the first step? I am 32 years old married woman. I am M.A., B. Ed., and Ph. D. I have seven years experience of teaching also but now this job is not giving me proper satisfaction and I want to change my career line. Actually I am an extremely creative person and I have a passion for art. I am really fond of drawing, painting, music, writing (poems, songs, stories, dramas, short plays and articles), handicraft making and such types of activities. People really appreciate me for the same and especially for my canvas oil paintings. This is my god given talent and you can say I am a born artist. I have a unique imagination power and a great sense of colour, structure and pattern. It is my keen desire to make a brilliant career in the field of art and painting but unfortunately I don’t have any professional degree, diploma and even a short term course certificate of the same. Can you help me in this regard? How should I start my art career? Is it essential for me to join some courses? Can I start my career without a professional degree? I am a middle class person and I have so many responsibilities still I’ll do everything to make my career as an artist. Please let me know according to my age and situation which are the cheap and best course suitable for me? I really need your help and guidance in this regard. When i say a career in art education i mean teaching in a public school at middle school level. I am looking into going to one of The Art Institute schools but I’m having a hard time choosing a career path. I’ve always been an artistic person and I really like all aspects of it. My parents seem to think that any career which is art related will not provide me with enough money in the future or it will be hard to find a job relating to my degree. I am really leaning towards culinary arts, but I don’t know enough about the industry to know how employable I would be and what my future income might be like. Any ideas, suggestions..anything? I want to draw and photograph nature, animals, and people, possibly illustrate books too. I just want a wide rage of possible things I can do, but what would that kind of art career be called? I’m thinking of many different careers, I want to work in a museum maybe as an art curator. Or maybe in an art gallery or even an art critic. I just want to know if there is anyone out there who has one of these careers or something similar and maybe tell me a little something about it. |
