What kinds of art careers are there? And do you want to go to an expensive art school or go to a junior college or a 4 year college to get some kind of degree ?
I have been trying to get promoted to level 7 in the art career and its just not happenin. I am up at least 2 on every skill its asking for and I am not getting promoted? Is there something else i need to do to get promoted???? please help im getting frusterated!! =]
I've heard sooooo much negativity lately about art careers. I've heard that the jobs are scare, and money is poor. I love to draw and write, but I'm so unsure now if this is right for me. I'd like to have a job that pays a decent salary and that I can definitely depend on. I don't want to regret going to college for the wrong thing. Yes, I love art, but I have to make a living, and I want to make sure this is the right move. Any advice?
Unfortunately I don't live in Seattle but I'm only about a hour and a half away. Is it possible to start an art career at home through a website?
Unfortunately I'm not sure where to start. I do have a fine arts degree and I've been painting and drawing since I was 6 years old. I was wondering if I could somehow get into the art world working at home because I have a son and I don't have the money for daycare. I do live about an hour and half away from Seattle so I figure someone out there has some advices.
I am M.A., B.Ed. Ph.D. but dont have any art degree. i am an extremely creative person. love all types of creativity like oil painting on canvas, composing poetry, writing, singing, handicraft making, handicraft making, cooking new creative dishes, dress designing etc. oil painting is my passion. i want to strat my art career as a self taught artist what should i do?
I'm a sophomore in high school, and the pressure of choosing my career path is just starting. I know i want to persue a career in art, and i have everything planned out, except for the actual career. I want to work with people. Is there a website, or does anyone even have suggestions on possible career choices?
I have studied art and I have a BA, I have already worked as an art teacher, and done more than five art internships. Most recently I had my first exhibition… at a coffee shop. I have invested so much time and money into making an art career, only to feel that I am left with a negative balance in my bank account. What more can I do to succeed?
