If you want to be an engineer, you will have to get a handle on math. It is required for any college degree. In fact, most colleges require you to pass calculus (at least 2 semesters).

Get a tutor and get your math skills up.

Do you have to be good at math in a computer career? Not necessarily. But do you have to pass math to get to a computer career? Well, it would be much harder not passing math and getting to the job you want.
