Going Back, Should I Attend An Online College Or A Typical College For A Business Administration Degree?

Going back, Should I attend an online college or a typical college for a business administration degree?
Online- cheaper way more flexible and i can do it when i want.?? but is it worth it? is it recognized by employers the same way? If so which ones are ?
typical college- expensive, less leniant schedule, public speaking, but a better education?
What should I do?
Also, If i do attend a typical college, can an associates degree increase my salary a lot more than just a H.S. degree? What is the average job for one who has aquired an associates degree?

    ONline what? Come on!!!!!!

You should attend a bricks and mortar college. Most colleges now offer classes that are either hybrid or totally on-line (your “typical” colleges). Totally “virtual” colleges are not highly respected. Many universities offer business programs geared toward the working professional…more flexible hours, meet only on Saturday, etc.
An associate’s degree is better than a h.s. degree, but it’s not going to increase your salary tremendously. You need at least a 4 year degree to make an impact.
Check out actual on-line sites of schools you are considering. Many post information about their graduates (especially community colleges offering the associates degree…)

I think you’d have to be out of your mind if you’re considering an online degree. Whether you learn the info or not, your employers will not want you to have done that!!!
Yes, public speaking is required at university – but that’s the point. The employer wants you to have done that and those skills, that’s why they make you do it. I hate it too – in fact I’m doing it tomorrow, but you just have to bite the bullet and do it. The doctor can prescribe beta blockers if you get shaky.
If you can “do it when you want” you probably won’t have the motivation to complete it. You won’t socialize or discuss the course with fellow students.
I also think you should stop thinking in terms of associates degrees, but BA and MA degrees. It’s 2008 – you’re not competing with high school any more!
Sorry to seem harsh but you have to aim for the top – and you don’t sound like you are.
