22 years active duty, US Army.
My only regret is that I cannot go back for 22 more years.

Spent 5 years in the Army as an enlisted man and 15 years in the Navy as an officer. I don’t regret any of it. It gave me a career to be proud of, an opportunity to serve my country and allowed me to visit places I never would have had the opportunity to do otherwise.

I would do it all over again and I have no regrets.

Yes, Navy for 22 years. No, I never regretted it. I regret I didn’t hang on for one more tour, but at the time going back to sea, again, didn’t appeal to me.
