I am interested in pursuing a degree in nutritional science, and writing/communications or journalism. Is it possible to take online courses that will apply later if I decide to join an institution.I am 27 yrs old,and there were allot of disruptions and delays in my education due to some problems, but now I am looking to pursue an online education which can possibly transfer later on. HELP ME PLEASE…
also I need a career that will have a future in it…I am interested in natural health and writing…I want to get into a naturopathic college but it will take a long time, any way to speed it up? I have to go for my under grad..I HAVE A GED ….
You should be able to complete many general education classes by taking independent study courses from some state Universities. My favorite place I recommend for these types of classes is Independent Study at LSU.http://is.lsu.edu
Naturopathy? There are very few naturopathic colleges(if any) that are legit. You should check to see if a school is accredited by checking the Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) website at http://www.chea.org/search/search.asp
There are some Chiropractic schools that are valid.
The best option for online classes is to take them from an accredited university that also has a physical campus. More and more universities are offering classes online, and many have degree programs that can be completed online.
Contact an institution similar to Strayer University. They are accredited by the Middle state commision on higher education, and are extremely generous when it comes to transfer credit… And in my opinion if you have a career that will have a future, you are headed down the wrong road! You need to become business oriented… Every aspect of business is booming, and will be long lived… Check out the programs Strayer University offers! Their online programs are very elaborate, yet user friendly! Their motto is “We fit your Life” and it couldn’t be any truer!
