an employer would look at an online education as lazy. A real college would look better on a resume.
a real school because u get to socialize and interact with other people of your same age group.
A real school gets more credit you know? And online is harder..I go to a “real college” that offers online courses, and I’ve taken 4 of them. Without a doubt they are harder. I remember things I learn in the classroom a lot better also.
being ni a real school will probably be better because you can have a real professor and live on campus, but if you don’t have much time the online course would probably be best
I would say a real school. You have your professors there, and it is a good social time. You can makes friends, and learn a lot. So i would go with the real one.
Go to the one that is more creditable. Check up on them
If you have just graduated high school, go to a traditional university or community college. The online schools are more for working adults that don’t have time to attend a traditional university. I am a working adult and got my degree at University of Phoenix online. I have to tell you that there is very little actual online teaching. You are required to attend a physical classroom one night a week from 6pm-10pm and also required to complete one individual assignment per week (including textbook reading) as well as one team assignment and group presentation per week. The classes are led by fully credentialed professors that work in the field they are teaching. Trust me, it was no walk in the park. The online program was very intense and very challenging. It is certainly comparable to any traditional university. The online component of the program is used to download reading assignments, interactive tutorials, and they have a huge online library that compares to any university. You can also check your grades and make changes to your courses cirriculum online.
In today’s electronic environment there really isn’t any need for a traditional brick and mortor institution like traditional universities anymore. However, there still remains a stigma attached to the idea of online education. It will take some time for people accept that people have different learning styles and can learn any place any time.
Hi,
Depending on your age, a local college might be a good experience when choosing clean fun and social events. But if you are for sure you want to take college courses online, how about the one that is ranked #1. I supplied the web address for you to look over. Here is a number you can call and talk to Barbara @866-527-5268, Ext 3559. Like one of your responsers said, online can be challenging. I am currently enrolled and taking graduate studies. Actually, I am not doing bad at all. I would challenge any-ones knowledge with mine. I hope this helps. Wanda
