I Want To Be A Firefighter In The Military. Is It Hard To Obtain This Career?

Or is it just like applying to the infantry and you have a really good chance of getting the job?
I also have heard of aptitude tests and wondered if I need a certain score to become a firefighter in the military?
off the topic……..does real absinthe in paris really make you trip out. And if so how many shots of this absinthe does the trick on getting you wasted and seeing things?

yes. Only the AF actually uses firefighters in the civilian sense. Army and Marines use civilians and the Navy DC rating encompasses much more than spraying water on flames.
and don’t be an idiot.. absinthe and military service do NOT mix.

Go Air Force if you want to have a dedicated job as a Fire Fighter. The army is phasing out fire fighters and having civilian contractors run crash rescue and post fire fighting duties. During the phase out engineer battalions will be assuming duties until it all goes civy. Good luck.

No, it’s not hard to become a firefighter in the military, any more than it is in civilian life.
Absinthe is a myth. “…no evidence shows it to be any more dangerous or psychoactive than ordinary alcohol.” [Wikipedia]

My recruiter told me that firefighters were being phased out of the Army, I don’t know about the other services. How you can phase out firefighters, I never really thought to ask. Huh… sounds like a good question for monday. Lol.
