Which leads me to believe it is a good educational track, and it would be applicable in any occupation. An online degree from an accredited university should be acceptable for the plan you propose. And, if the alternative is to do nothing for several years in Korea, it is a very good idea. It might be good to compare some other online universities, like American Public University System, Walden University, and there are some state universities with online programs. They don't get many applicants, so they don't want to lose any. This is not going to be cheap as you said. I would put it off till you return to the states. Then you can attend a real school. But I think an MBA would be even better if you can do it. To be honest, a degree is always better than no degree at all. And more and more schools are putting classes and degrees online. so it's becoming the norm now. don't let them pressure you though. you make your own decision. there are plenty of schools you could go to and plenty of classes you could take.
