Is University Of Phoenix Online’s Master’s In Math Education A Good Program?

I’m thinking about starting the online Master’s in Math education from University of Phoenix. Has anyone been through this program? Did your school district easily recognize this degree and certify you?

Call the governing body for teachers in the state you will be teaching in and talk to recruiters/employers before you register. Do they require you to attend a certain type of school? Does you school need to be accredited? By any specific bodies? Use this information when you are looking at any school, not just UOP.
I enjoyed UOP more than the traditional school I got my AA and BS from. My masters program consisted of discussions, papers, and projects. For me, the benefit of being able to do school work on my own schedule outweighed the cons of the high cost.
I did go on to teach at a private college, but it was in nursing. You need a masters in nursing, not education, for that. I’ve also been training new nurses in our state university hospital.
