Online College Student – What Are My Rights As A Special Education Student?
Hello. I have been in special education scene i can remember. I recently graduated from a school in Nevada. I was titled as dyslexic and a slow learner. Almost eight months ago getting close to my finals for my first class. I thought i would be able to handle it well, but i am at a 74.3 and a passing grade is a 2.0. I feel very scared for the finals even though i am doing good on it. If i fail, i owe almost one grand.
I attend School in the state of Arizona and i live in Nevada, What are my rights before i tell my Academic Counselor?

the school should have a disability services office–you are entitled to accommodations under section 504 of the rehab act. you are no longer a special ed student as there is not special ed in college..you are a student with a disability..
ask how the accommodations you received in high school can be applied at college
