After discharge from military service most ex servicemen find it very difficult to find suitable civil employment. Despite trying very hard they are unable to secure good jobs. My criteria for choosing a company is, would the company give any career advancement like sending you to trainings and seminars? There is no career advancement, nor inclination to look for change, juniors are moving ahead of me.

Your employer won’t even know if you used the insurance – unless YOU tell them. It’s against the privacy law (known as HIPAA) to share your medical information with an unauthorized third party – except in the following cases:
– public health and safety (a gunshot wound, for instance needs to be reported to police. Flu data is collected to determine an outbreak in an area – but then you won’t be indentified by name, you’d be “subject 1″ or something.)
-your insurance company for payment
- another doctor for care coordination (a hospital ER can call your regular doctor to ask how they treat your particular ailment)
-Anyone you designate IN WRITING to have access to that information = a parent, sibling, adult child, spouse, or other proxy – who can make decisions on your care

I have found the niche I want to be in and have no real deisre to change positions in the company. However, my management wishing to assist and move along my career, have recomended me to another position in my company that leads to management track. I have no desire to be in management, yet to refuse could insult those who hold my career in hand, should I decide make a change or desire advancement, raises etc

Is it hard to find a paid or unpaid trainee job in a finance company in New York City? I am from Denmark and want some work experience in NYC. I have Bachelor´s Degree in Business Administration from London. I have posted my resume on different websites but no one has replied:-(

I do a little accounting and everything else for this payroll company. Will I have a better chance at landing a job compared to working as a teller? Or is being a teller better?
I’m planning on applying for a finance position in May after I receive my degree in finance.
