I have a plan to do MBA from an online college, but before taking admission in any college I want to know about the advantages of distance learning education so that I can analyze them as it will be a major decision of my life. So if you people have any information in this, please help me.

I have found a course I wish to do via online learning and not being from the US I don’t understand the cost per credit hour quoted. It is a Masters course and is quoted at $1000 per credit hour.
From the brochure there are 33 – 36 Credits spread across 11/12 courses. Does this mean that the cost is $33000?

I am married with 2 kids and work full time. I do not have the time to physically take classes at a school (the closest community college is an hour away). I want to further my education, but just don’t know where to go. I recently withdrew from an online school for several reasons, including the soaring tuition. Does anyone have any recommedations? I was wondering if it pays for online like Devry….like it pays if you go to a college because online is usually more expensive….

The diploma mills are kicking out degrees like dog licenses.
When I was a kid, I was led to believe that college was the path to wealth, now I’m not so sure.
At my company, an outsider comes in with a degree from a prestigeous university, and is trumped by a hay-seed clown who golfs with the boss and got his degree online just for appearences! And of course, the clown thinks his education is just as good.
I think the way out of the lower class is through education. But to get to the upper class, it seems to be education and networking.
I am interested in persuing my education online. In particular, I will be obtaining my RN online through Excelsior (through istudysmart.com). Anyone know if there are programs out there for financial aide for online degrees, or online nursing degrees? Thanks.
