is a bachelors in Finance that I just received?
I graduated in 2005 with a BBA in Finance. I have absolutely no finance experience. I have only management experience to offer. I need some advice regarding what type of Financial job I should pursue.
I am a confused person with too much time on my hands.So I was wondering if there was a site that I could go to and practice online different types of careers and experience it in a mini version. Instead of wasting $$$ going to school and then not wanting that.
My question is whether I am eligible to join accounts with 3 years experience or as fresher. But I have accounting thorough knowledge.
If I can join with 3 years of experience, Please tell me how? How should i convince interviewer?
Please explain me. I am trying since six months to get it into finance job. I have tried many times but, most of the time, interviewer choice is hardcore accounting experienced person. even I have the same knowledge as experienced person.

I am hoping to hear answers from Sr. Levels of Management (VP and up) in Consumer Packaging or Manufacturing or Biotech/Pharma.
I am currently in Field Sales. Have the opportunity to move to corporate and go inside.
How important is going inside for a few years and working as a Product Manager or some such thing if you want to advance?
Is this a practical route to greater opporutnity?
Do most fortune 500 companies value cross training such as this?
I dread being a desk jockey but for the experience and contacts I think I can hang on for two years.
Someone I know wants to have a career as a social worker. Right now she is working fulltime as a mail clerk because they hired her on the spot at the interview. She really isn’t happy working there anymore. She doesn’t have a degree YET, but she would like to work towards that as well. Right now she is looking for a job that can help her gain experience with social services, whether it be dealing with families, youths, group homes for teens, etc. What kind of job titles would she need to seek, in order to do this. She does not want to do volunteer work because she wants to make some money. It would be better if she is in a job that will be more beneficial to her in a financial and career advancement way. Please do not leave answers about volunteer work. She would like to get paid something. It doesn’t have to be thousands of dollars, but something that she can survive with. Also, the only job title I know of is a youth coordinator, but I don’t know too much about the field. Please help
Anybody knows how easy/hard is to get a job for a foreigner in the UK (holding a work permit) in finance and what are the average salaries for like a financial analyst with 3 years of experience, I’ve heard they are quite good and people earn a hell of money?

I am considering switching jobs to something that is better related to what I would like to do in the long run. However, when turning in my notice my current employer offered to move me to Director if I stay. In the future when I want to move to the other field, will I have a better shot of being a Director in it if I am already a director or if I have more relevant experience.
