I have no experience or previous education in the field I want to get into. If I get an online degree will I be able to get a job with it?
I am thinking about finishing my degree. I work full time and I really can’t stop to go back to school. The University of Missouri offers an online bachelor’s degree in general education. I looked at the requirements and it looks very do-able for me. I just want to make sure it’s not a waste of money. Does anyone know anything about this degree?
I saw some education programs, but some required a teaching certificate, which I don’t have. Strayer University offers a program like this, but is not offered in my state:
“The Master of Education (M.Ed.) program provides current K-12 teachers, training and development professionals, and HR staff managers the knowledge and skills to pursue or advance their careers in education, HR, training, curriculum development, instructional technology, or trade and education association management.”
Do you know of a program like it?
I already have a bachelor’s degree, but am looking to further my education and don’t have the time to go to an actual university. I have never done online classes, and am seeking some advice on a reputable online university. My focus is nutrition or health and wellness. Thanks!
I want to get my education degree (already have a B.Sc.) but am currently living in a remote northern Canadian town. I would like to investigate some universities, american or preferably Canadian, that offer either part or complete bachelor of Education degrees online. Tips or Recommendations?
I’m 25, and about to start a program through UT to get my HS diploma. I want a better job, probably something computer related, more specifically having to do with Networks.
There is one car between my wife and I, and she’s going to give birth to my son this July. Hence why I would really rather take an online course, as the stress of balancing both of us working, the baby, and me taking the one car to a school would simply be too much.
It would be easier to let her take the car, and watch the kid while taking my courses online. I still can’t help but feel worried that I won’t be able to get a job with a degree from Devry. The other reason I don’t want to go to a brick & mortar college is my schedule. I work from 10pm to about 4am or so, and end up sleeping up to 12p-4pm, depending on how the night went. So as you can see, and B&M college would be………a giant pain.
I am planning to do my masters degree, but it would be convenient for me to do it online. I want a good university that is well recognized in the states. I want to do my masters in Counselling or education.

my youngest is having his first time school experience so that leaves me free time to go back to work. i want to also further my education. possibly a career as a guidance councilor at a high school.
i need to work, i need more schooling and it seems an online education is the answer. i’m afraid when i’m done getting my degree i wont get hired any where coz an online education isn’t strong enough or impressive enough.
can anyone give me advice as to whats best?
thank you
I’m taking classes online, and I want to make sure I am getting what I pay for as far as education goes…If anyone can give any advice on this school it would be greatly appreciated!!
