Does ANYONE have any experience with this school? I want to obtain my Associates in Criminal Justice. This online schooling would be great for my situation but I don’t want to find out that I took this school and after I graduate cannot get a job because the education was not legit. Can anyone help me, any and all advice would be great!!
I have never been to college. I want to do my college education online. I have a GED diploma, and I am so confused on which college and universities I should check into. This is what I want, an associate degree in nursing. It seems so hard to find the right school for this. I don’t want to be taken advantage of by these so called online schools that don’t mean much and employers frown upon like university of phoenix, devry, kaplan etc..also do you have to pay money to register for school? I read that if colleges want money upfront they are scamming you. I don’t know what to believe. I need help b/c I need to choose a school and apply for the fall semester. I need real answers please, preferably someone who has experience with online schooling. I also need names of the schools please. I am so confused on what school is legit
I was thinking on going back to the navy and joining because last year I left before bootcamp. But i think it was a mistake. And the hole year I didnt really do anything. And I am going to go back. But at the same would like to study to become a geneticists. I never really had any good ideas of what I wanted to be when I grow but I always liked learning about health biology and those types of of science. And dietics doesn’t pay good. I saw on discovery science channel a documentary called super humans with people and special talents/ abilities. a women can see and taste music sounds and a guy can regulate his body temp in extreme cold. And it was all pretty interesting And was thinking about it but what kind of websites have college courses for becoming a geneticists? Also I used to be decent in math not good but now I pretty much forgot my math, just know basic math. its the only thing I worry about in academics really. Math is the hardest for me to learn and I am good at writing and reading even though I never read books.I know I made mistakes but I really don’t feel like spell checking. I learn math pretty well and fast but my only problem is I forgot how to do math formulas after a while if I don’t keep practicing them.
However bottom line question is:
what online site offers college courses for being geneticists so I can study while away. I heard many colleges don’t offer that so it was kind of worrying. Help would be appreciated, thanx.
Well, I recently lost my job after finding out I’m pregnant. I already have a 2 year old. I was a EMT, did the whole ambulance thing, got my CPR, EMT, Hazmat, CEVO, etc. That’s a another situation there. I’m in a financial situation here as well, and education seems the only way out. I spoke with devry and applied, and recently also applied at University of Phoenix and did the financial aid process at UOP. I’m turning down devry because it’s very expensive more expensive than a community college. This is so important to me. At this time there’s barely any money coming in the house, and I can’t afford to travel to and from a school, get a babysitter, and soon I’m having another baby come July. I’m a high risk pregnancy. So walking around, putting son in car seat, straining myself isn’t a good idea. So I decided to go to school online. I’ve read alot about UOP and Devry and I don’t like what I hear, but I already applied for school at UOP. Does anyone have advice? Or even a better online school. I was skipped in 6th grade to 7th. I’ll study everyday. Far as my Performance on learning and completing assignments ; is not my concern.
At 17 for personal reasons I had to drop out of High school, a few years later I became interested in the military and was turned down for lack of education. I went back to school and got my GED, a few months later of working with the future soldiers of america program I was in shape and ready to go…But then I fell in-love, got married and accidentally pregnant. 
Which is not a bad thing I just had to put all my work on the back burner for a while. Here I am though two years later interested in the military again only to find that Army has closed off allowing GEDs to enter because they are full on soldiers at the moment. I need to turn my GED into a High school diploma with 15 college credits. I cannot use my husbands GI bill until he has been in the Coast Guard for 6 years (hes only in 4 as of now). So I am at a loss of where to go for cheap online classes since this is coming out of our own pocket. Are there any other military loans or grants im eligible for? What is a good cheap online college to get credits from so that I can get into the Army? Please any help is greatly appreciated!
I’m in my last semester in an Education masters program at FSU. In a class on “research methods” (Seminar on Inquiry and Measurement) we were required to picked a topic to use for all of our homework assignments. My groups topic was a comparison of Homeschool vs Public School experiences among FLVS students & parents.
One of our assignments was to create an online survey and have 20 people take it. Well, our group has to turn in the survey next Monday.

I am in a cadet corp, and i love it. It has made me want to join the military. I want to personally join Army. Honestly I dont mind being sent out to the middle east as long as i get the good training needed such as those of special forces so i can be better prepared or Ranger school training and whatnot. My family though doesn’t want me in the army. They are always telling me to go navy. But i dont want to be on a boat. It sounds boring. I dont care if they go around the world. Idea of being on a boat makes me sick. I would want to be either an MP or go straight for airborne. But i am not sure. People are always telling me that i will die, but its getting so annoying to a point that i really dont care about being deployed anymore. But I am just worried that am I being selfish if i go active because it would affact my father and brother and stuff like that. and my other family members. I really want to be active soldier, if i told them this, they would just think Im insane though.
I am a high school chemistry teacher and I am trying to find a good master’s degree that is online that is about high school science or more specific on chemistry education. Can anyone help me?

I am so confused right now. I currently live in North Carolina but will be moving to Texas anywhere from January – April next year when my boyfriend gets out of the Army. I finally found the degree I am interested, which is an Associates in Early Childhood Education, but there is no technical college in the town I will be moving to in Texas (Lubbock), so I have no way to transfer my credits? I was looking into online college but there have been so many complaints about the cost and the financial aid not going through, etc., that I’m a bit leary of it.
What should I do?!
