I have a job interview tomorrow morning.
I am already employed.
The job I have applied for is one of greater opportunity and is in the same industry I now work in and have over 10 years experience in.
I know all the basics – smile, make eye contact, dress for success, etc.
But are there any other ways in which I can make myself stand out from all of the other applicants?
I desperately want this position as it would be a wonderful career advancement – but I don’t want to seem desperate!
Also, would it be improper to wear a black skirt?
Would it seem too formal or like I was attending a funeral?
I planned on perhaps wearing a black skirt with a light colored dress shirt.
If anyone has any tips to offer I would be most appreciative!!
Will the financial crisis make it harder or easier to find a job in the finance industry in a couple of years?
I have recently been notified that my company is laying off due to start of plant closure. What are some good fields to go into so that I can make good money and give my kids the life I want for them. An online college that is very respectable would be nice but I don’t know if there are any. I don’t have to worry about paying for it right now because I have the GI bill and qualify for pale grant. I am also a native american and I have my regestration number. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Any web sites for list of pay per job would be cool.
Okay i have just been accepted to a undergraduate business program at Rutgers University and after i get my undergraduate i plan to get my MBA from a top graduate business school. My choices are MIT-Sloan UPENN-Wharton NYU and Boston University should i pursue finance or would i make more money in another field and what type of job makes a high starting salary
Although UCT is a really good university, I worry that American emplpyers dont believe that because of the perceptions about Africa. I have applied for about 150 jobs and have gotten no callbacks…Im getting worried. I graduated with first class honors and a distinction in finance, in the top 10% of my class, so I feel bumbed that I may not get a good job in Finance after all that hard work. Should I study another degree in the US or try to do an MBA in the US? And an answer to a previous question: I am present in the US, married to an american, so dont need sponsorship.
Hi, This is an odd question, but I absolutely LOVE Mayfair and one day would love to own a huge house there and basically be able to afford one. I am planning on doing Economics Finance and Management at University and i was wondering, what job in that area could make me a millionaire?
I know things aren’t that simple but I’m just really interested in knowing!
Or any job to do with Economics…
Thanks!
I’m starting a new job soon, from private sector to fed gov’t and presently have CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield.
an Airline Co. : Higher Salary; discounted ticket; new things explore; unforceen future. Working with contract based manager.
Current Co. : Salary nearly a thousand different; ground job; broad business goal & development chances. Working with sis as my superior.
Job scope for both are same (slightly different only) as a WebMaster
Illegal aliens have driven down wages and benefits for low-skilled American workers. This has hurt American families.
Why do Dems support this damage to American families?
I plan on making the military my career so i can retire in 20 years if i wanted to. I want to join a branch where i can advance to higher ranks. In the Air Force i know its hard to get past Captain so thats out of the picture and i’ve already served in the AF and their cutting back. Its between the Army Navy and Marines. I heard the Army is the biggest branch and there is a lot of room to advance. How is it in the Navy and Marines is really competitive? So basically what branch climbs up the grade ladder quicker and slowest?
