I have a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Physical Education and Health….I am trying to find an online school to get my Doctorate from…I have found many online schools like Walden University that offer many online Doctorate programs but I do not know what field I can get it in…..K-12 Education? Teacher Leadership? General Education?….Thanks for the help!!

I’m currently out of the country, but I still maintain a residence in Florida. I heard this makes a difference, but I’m just not sure. I’m interested in either a degree in HR or Early Education.

I’m interested in taking advantage of St. Joseph’s University’s online Master’s degree in education. This is a fully functioning brick and mortar university that happens to offer distance learning. The school has been around since 1851 and offers undergrad, master’s and doctoral programs. It is not a FOR profit school like University of Phoenix. Will this be looked upon as highly as if I attended the university in person for my courses?

I am considering getting my Master Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix. I want to be a 7-8 grade Math teacher (in Ohio). I am just wondering if anyone has received their degree from UoP and have been successfully in obtaining a teaching position?

I want to finish my bachelor’s degree online but I’m not looking for an online university someone told me to look at universities that offer a completely online degrees (distant education program) I want to finish a business management degree.
Does anyone know of any good program that any employer will accept?

I am wanting to further my education by obtaining a Master’s Degree in GIS (Geographic Information Systems). Unfortunately there are no University’s in the area that offer a MS in GIS. I think I have finally narrowed my online alternatives to two Colleges – Penn State and NW Missouri.
My question is: Is there anyone out there who has taken (or is taking) online classes from either of those universities. Or, has anyone obtainined a Master’s Degree in GIS from either of those institutions (online)? I’m trying to decide which has the better program. Thank you!

Bellevue University is a university located in Bellevue Nebraska and they offer online degree programs as well as campus based programs. Their business degrees are also accredited by IACBE. I was just curious as to others experience with their program. I am considering on continuing my education with them.

I am also interested in issues of African (black)American history, diversity, and urban education. I have Masters from Johns Hopkins. Are there any online programs that won’t be poo-pooed by my colleagues in higher ed?
