Ba Or Masters In Secondary Education?

I graduated in 2005 with a BA in History and have now realized that I want to teach. I need a teaching certificate / licensure and was wondering if any schools online offer both a certificate and masters work and or any additional endorsements in other areas, such as special education.
I have spoken with several schools around my area and it seems my only option is to take the GRE and go to a local college, but I am trying to avoid this test and just start on getting this done instead of waiting around.
Also is it better to get a cert from an online school or local college as far as getting a job post graduation?

Online Masters In (secondary) Education?

I am receiving a bachelors in Criminal Justice however I want to end up teaching after my military career. Since the military pays for most of the college I am going to try to get a masters in education before I get out. However, since I am active duty, I am unable to do a year or whatever in class experience to get a teaching license. What are some good ONLINE schools that I would be able to get a Masters in education/secondary education without needing a teaching certificate. I will get my teaching certificate once I get out of the military since I will be able to attend the in class experience part. Thanks for any answers!!!
