I was wondering what some career opportunities are with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science? I was looking at biotechnology and it seemed promising.

Check out local universities. I am looking for jobs at the University that is near me and I CONSTANTLY come across great positions for lab tech individuals who have experience. If you worked in a lab during your undergrad or grad years, you’ll be pretty well prepared. It just depends on whether or not your specific experiences/coursework match the skills and knowledge for the position.
If you are at all interested in education, you should also check out museums and teaching positions. If you aren’t certified as a teacher, you can still apply for some private school positions and in some locations you can teach on a provisional license in the public schools.
Also check out jobs working in gov’t. Check your state’s employment website to see about local jobs in research and whatnot.
I also come across COUNTLESS positions for nurses, public health professionals and individuals who have experience working with persons who have disabilities. These are very high need areas and can be very rewarding.
Even if you’re not looking for a job right now, it helps to just check listings. Learning about "what options are available" with a given degree doesn’t necessarily translate into "what options are available AND actively hiring." Sure, it’s possible to work as a forensic technician with a degree in science, but those jobs are few and far between and VERY competitive. Be sure to check actual listings to get a feel for whether your skills match the jobs that are actively being posted.
