What Colleges Offer A Masters Degree In Special Ed Online?
I have a degree in general elementary education. I need a program that will enable sped licensure at the end of it. I also need one that does not require student teaching, since I am already a full time teacher and cannot afford to take a semester off of work.

Hi.
Well there are many online colleges that offer a masters in special education. Here are a few that i came across:
* Walden University
* Jones International University
* University of Phoenix
* Capella University
* George Washington University
Ofcourse you can go on and check out other online colleges too. But just make sure that they are accredited. By no chance should you join a diploma mill. They will lure you into joining them by offering easy course content and charging low fees. But If you join them, you will be completely wasting your time and money.
Since you already have a job, make sure you are able to dedicate time to online studies. Having the freedom of choosing your own times has been taken for granted by many. In the end the degree is of deteriorated quality hence lower chances of employment.

Special education teachers provide a lifeline to children with mental or physical disabilities, helping them learn and develop crucial life skills. They adapt the general education curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student. Some of the conditions teachers accommodate in the classroom include: mental retardation and learning disabilities, speech and language impairments, emotional disturbances, hearing or visual impairment, and autism.
