What Did Senator John Mccain Do During His Military Career That Makes Him A Hero?

Getting captured does not make you a hero nor does getting offered preferential treatment because of who your dad is. I served honorably in the army special forces for 3 years does that make me a hero?

    1st things first.
He was hero for his actions while flying, His actions after being captured, his refusal to get better treatment becuase of his family even to the point of refusing early release unless everyone else was released which got him a beating.
I doubt you served in any forces becuase if you did you wouldnt have to ask this question and you would have said I served in the Rangers, Green Berets and not just said Special forces if you had served
Go back to berkley and tell them your little troll didnt catch anything

    No you didn’t
what made him a hero were his actions in the air as a pilot, and his refusal to accept preferential treatment and refusal to comply with his captors.. and we can see what the outcome of that was..they severely beat and tortured him.
ps.. what unit were you with

You apperently don’t know the history. You to ought try reading occasionally before you ask silly questions. True heros don’t need to ask if they are one!
