What Education Do You Need To Be A Social Worker?
Right now im going to a private college and working towards my diploma in “Community Services Worker”.

I attended college on site, so I’m not sure about on line course work. I got my AA degree in pre psych. Then I went to a University to obtain my Bach Degree in Social Work and an undergrad in Psych. and Women’s Studies. Then I received a Masters Degree in Psychology. I have no idea of how long it will take on Line took me 6 1/2 yrs of steady work to complete my degree. I’m not sure how on a online class room they would monitor you work with individuals. and I’m not sure how peole will accept you receiving a Masters on Line. Before starting I think I would call some places you intend to apply to and see what they have to say dor thsi type of degree, before I put money and effort into the work. God Bless Reggie
There aren’t many online MSW programs, as far as I can tell.
Typically the degree is 60 credit hours and takes 2 years, full time. If you go part time it will take longer, but how much longer depends on how you do it. 4 years is probably a reasonable goal.
