<description>The most money? That would be a chief surgeon at a large hospital or a physician/surgeon with a private practice that is recognized by his or her peers as the best in his or her field... the surgeon they would want to have if they needed one.

Here&#039;s how the system works to become a medical doctor:

You must first have a 4 year degree in almost any subject, but a degree in biology or chemistry is preferred. You must maintain a 4.0 GPA to apply for medical school.

Next you apply for medical school. If accepted, you will go through 4 years of pre-med and medical school.

The second year of med school you must pick a specialty... neurology, psychiatry, cardiology, general sugery, etc.

After 4 years you will be tested and if you pass you will have to perform 2 to 4 years of residency, plus post-med school classes to stay current.

Then, if you&#039;re really good, in 10 or 15 years you will have developed the reputation that will get you the wealth and power you seek.

Now to tally up the time it will take you:

BS degree - 4 years
Med school - 4 years
residency - 2 to 4 years
time to grow a reputation - 10 to 15 years

TOTAL TIME - 20 to 27 years... but time flies when you&#039;re having fun... I wish you lots of luck
