John McCain.
The fact that he will keep our military in the Middle Eastern countries, where we are facing the most threats this nation has ever seen!!! Keeping the war in their country, not ours, fighting THEIR war! The Global War on terrorism is the main issue in my book. Without our American defense system in the region, we will have nothing to complain about. We would not exist! The terrorists mission of World domination is a constant threat to our country.
The fact that he has served in the American Government and military for more than 35 years. He is well respected in the Senate for his achievements.
The fact that he is the son and grandson of high ranking officers of the American Naval Academy, who also served in the military to preserve what we now are enjoying…the United States of America and our FREEDOM.
For those reasons, I truly believe that John Sydney McCain is a much better example for our children. I trust him immensely.
However, you should really take a good look and listen to the facts from each candidate and make your decision based on what they truly believe in, do a background check on them, see where they are coming from. McCain is an example of how to cave and sell out to your enemy in days to create North Vietanamese propagana for better treatment. McCain is a shining example of how to loose plane after plane until you’re captured. Interpretation of his governmental career depends on rather you support Sheriff Arpio and have lots of money.
Obama doesn’t have a military career and his governmental career has been one of advocating for middle class principles.
In the end, the most important question is not what was, but what will be. And what will be, is that children will learn about Obama’s presidency instead of how McCain abandoned his beauty queen wife, who waited for him for years through the POW issue, because she was deformed in a car accident while he was captive… and within months he was dating his current beer-heiress beauty queen who had political connections. I’m not sure that is the best example of how to start your political career.
There is a lot about McCain that I think is a terrible example for my children. You can teach whatever you want.
Well, pork chop, it seems you already know the answer to your own question. But I would say that the job of a naval aviator is to bomb targets, not get shot down out of the sky, and the job of a presidential candidate is to win, not lose twice in 2000 and 2008. Obama has a career? Taking a look at his career you would think he just gets elected to an office so that he can run for another one in a few months. The reason no one attacks his voting record is he never stays at one job long enough to have one!

Obama’s “career” was as a community organizer. This is the same as being in the extortion rackets. Jesse Jackson was nearly indicted for this, but got off for political correctness reasons.
