Any step towards a degree is a good one. Kudos for your support of her education. Starting with general education classes online would be a fantastic idea (I mean things like English, Algebra, History, etc.). Once you get to your duty station, she can hopefully hake some classes at a nearby college.
Beware: Some things don’t transfer. Tell her to take very general things and check into different colleges and their requirements so she won’t waste her time taking things over again. Good luck!
Yes. If I were her I’d get into an online program now instead of starting off taking classes and finding out you can’t finish online and you can’t transfer without losing a lot of credits (which is what happened to me). If she is going to be following you around then it is best that she can take her education with her and I’m actually really glad to see you’re thinking about these things! Good luck!
thats what im doing..just make sure to look around at all the online schools because some arent accredited. and if she wants to carry on after she finishes online it will be hard from a school that isnt accredited. so check them out first but its a good idea…my husband found penn foster for me and im doing that right now which gives me the freedom to move around. good luck to you both!!!
